SCHP:Pedestrian dies after being struck by van

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol say a pedestrian died after being struck by a van early Tuesday morning (April 14).

Investigators say it happened just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. 321 and Wilbur Road in Lexington County.

Troopers say the pedestrian was hit by a 2011 Toyota Sienna van.

The accident remains under investigation.
