Columbia Police respond to construction site after C4 found

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–  Columbia Police and a bomb squad responded to a construction site this morning after authorities say they found C4 at the location.

Officials say it was found at a site near Fort Jackson Boulevard and I-77.

Police say Shaw Air Force Base Explosive Ordinance Disposal Personnel responded to the scene.

In addition to the C4, crews also found a detonation cord and blasting caps.
