Cosmetology students take part in barbering competition

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Earlier Monday, April 20, 2026, students from schools in South Carolina and Georgia met to see who is a cut above the rest.

Cosmetology students took part in a barbering competition at the Lexington Two Innovation Center.

The competition included haircuts, hair designs, braids, nails and more.

Ten schools were represented in today’s competition.
