Georgetown community preparing for second wave of flooding

GEORGETOWN, SC (WOLO) – One South Carolina coastal community is preparing for a second wave of flooding.

Thousands of people in Georgetown have been urged to evacuate ahead of historic flooding in an area where multiple swollen rivers converge.

Authorities predict the possibility of between eight and 10 feet of water as early as Wednesday (9/26) night into Thursday morning.
