Local Living: Food and Wine Festival, Pinot and Pearls Silent Auction, free concert series, annual shoe drive
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the Columbia Food and Wine Festival is finally here.
Today, Weds, April 22, through Sunday, hundreds of local restaurants will showcase their finest dishes through several events to sink your teeth into.
There will also be games, live music, and more.
The Lake Murray-Irmo Woman’s Club is hosting its 12th annual Pinot and Pearls Silent Auction Fundraiser.
It is Thursday, April 23, at the Saluda Shoals River Center from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and features one-of-a-kind items to bid on.
ABC Columbia’s very own Crysty Vaughan will emcee the event.
The Town of Irmo’s free concert series kicks off this Friday, April 24.
Each Friday night will be filled with live music, community spirit, and food.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. at Moore Park.
All attendees must enter the park through the Church Street entrance.
There’s still time to donate to Keep the Midlands Beautiful’s annual shoe drive.
From now through Thursday, April 30, you can donate new or gently worn shoes at their office on Augusta Road in West Columbia.
It helps raise funds to support the non-profit’s litter prevention, recycling, and beautification efforts.
