Gervais St. Bridge Closed: Water rescue

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– City officials have temporarily closed the Gervais Street bridge as divers hit the water for a search and rescue attempt. City officials tell ABC Columbia news a fisherman reported hearing a splash in the water, and reported seeing someone in the water. Crews are on scene right now searching the water and surrounding area. ABC COLUMBIA news has a crew on the scene and will keep you up to date.
