UPDATE: 2 more dogs seized after delivery driver attacked in Sumter County

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– After an investigation into the attack of a delivery driver that happened this month, two more dogs have been seized, say deputies.

Deputies with the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office say an investigation revealed that three dogs were involved in the attack of the delivery driver on Tuesday, April 14, on Claremont Road in Rembert.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office reviewed evidence that indicated that three dogs were involved in the attack on delivery driver while the driver was delivering a package at a Rembert home.

As a result of the evidence, Animal Control officers have permanently seized two additional dogs from the home.

All three dogs believed to have been involved in the attack, which left the victim severely injured, have been permanently seized and placed in quarantine, says the SCSO.
