Little Caesars teams with company for 1st drone to deliver family-sized meals
(CNN)– For the first time ever, Little Caesars pizzas are being delivered by air.
Little Caesars has teamed up with drone company Flytrex to roll out the ultra-fast food delivery.
Right now it’s just at the Little Caesars location in Wylie, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
They take orders via the Flytrex app.
The drone can fly up to four miles and carry about eight pounds.
That’s enough to carry two large pizzas, crazy bread, and sodas, the largest weight capacity of any current food delivery drone.
The drone is fast, averaging less than five minutes from takeoff to delivery.
