Local Living: WOW Studio One’s film festival, Songbird Music Festival, Caring Hearts of South Carolina, Rosewood Crawfish Festival
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, WOW Studio One’s theatre and film festival rolled out the red carpet in downtown Columbia Thursday, April 30.
Now through Saturday, May 2, there will be several events ranging from film screenings, workshops, networking opportunities and more.
Don’t miss the inaugural Songbird Music Festival May 30 through the May 31 at Finlay Park.
The headliners for the event are Americana great ‘Old Crow Medicine Show’ and Bluegrass Legend Sam Bush.
16 other local and national acts will also perform.
Caring Hearts of South Carolina has postponed their 4 annual Car Show and Touch-a-Truck event this Saturday, May 2, due to the weather.
They moved the event to Saturday, June 13 at Ridgeland High School.
Your kids can interact with fire trucks, police cars, and much more.
Plus enjoy live music, a petting zoo and plenty of food.
The event is free to attend.
The Rosewood Crawfish Festival is back at the state fairgrounds this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The day includes live music, local art, and of course plenty of crawfish to enjoy.
