Former Gamecock QB diagnosed with stage four cancer

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–According to a post on gofundme.com, former Gamecock Quarterback Stephen Garcia is battling Stage 4 colorectal cancer.

Garcia’s wife Maria Garcia says he is beginning chemotherapy today.

Stephen Garcia led the Gamecocks to many significant victories including the team’s only SEC East division title in 2010.
