More Americans live with parents

(CNN)– Adults living with mom and dad not so strange these days.

A new report from Realtor.com shows there four million multi-generational households in the U.S.

That’s four-and-a-half percent of all households, up slightly from 4.3% in 2019.

The report doesn’t explain why more people are choosing to live with their parents.

The cost of housing probably has something to do with it, but a stronger desire to care for aging parents could also be at play.
