Apple reaches $250 million settlement over Siri Ai capabilities

(CNN)– Apple has agreed to a $250 million settlement in a class action lawsuit over the Ai capabilities of the iPhone 16.

And it could mean money for you if you have an eligible device.

The suit claimed Apple deceived customers when it marketed its Ai system, called Apple Intelligence with the iPhone 16 in 2024.

It said Apple Intelligence and an enhanced Siri did not exist when the iPhone 16 came out.

Apple said it has delivered more than 20 Apple Intelligence features through software updates.
