Benedict College to hold 156th commencement

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Tonight (Friday, May 8, 2026), Benedict College is holding its 156th commencement at Charlie W. Johnson Stadium.

Daryl A. Graham, Senior Vice President of Engagement and HBCU Initiative at Strada Education Foundation will serve as the keynote speaker for the commencement ceremony which will be held at 7 p.m.

During the ceremony, Benedict College will also confer an honorary degree upon the keynote speaker Daryl A. Graham and Dr. Marlene Murphy McClerklin.
