Lexington officers looking for 3 accused of filling trash bags with cartons of cigarettes without paying

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Police Department say officers are looking for three people accused of forcefully entering a gas station on Monday.

Around 1:20 a.m. on Monday, May 25, three people forcefully entered Murphy Express at 4448 Sunset Blvd, say police.

Once inside the gas station, they filled two trash bags with cartons of cigarettes.

They are accused of exiting the store without rendering payment and then leaving in a white box truck toward I-20.

The truck’s markings were covered, but it appeared to be an older model Chevrolet, according to police.
