Officials: Fire Started by Child Playing with Lighter

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia firefighters say a child playing with a lighter lead to $20,000 in damage to a Midlands home. A spokesperson for the fire department says the fire started around 8:30 Friday morning at a home on James St. off of Columbia College Dr. No injuries were reported.
