SC Pride’s Revelry Gala returns to State Museum August 1st

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Famously Hot South Carolina Pride is bringing a night of glamour, entertainment, and community to Columbia with Revelry: A Famously Hot Pride Gala, taking place Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at the South Carolina State Museum.

The evening will feature a special appearance and performance by Kenya Pleaser, who recently represented South Carolina on the national stage as a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18. Revelry will also give attendees a first look at what’s in store for the upcoming 2026 Famously Hot SC Pride Festival & Parade, including special entertainment announcements.

“Revelry is another opportunity for all of us to come together in fierce solidarity, colorful authenticity, and fabulous style,” said Dylan Gunnels, President of South Carolina Pride.

The 21+ celebration will feature a red carpet, open bar, food and hors d’oeuvres, live performances, dancing, a silent auction, and music from DJ EZ. Performers will include members of the 2026 OUTfest Court: Ms. OUTfest Valerie Vera Moore, Mx. OUTfest Elena DeVour, and Mr. OUTfest Marcel Blaze along with OUTfest Idol winner Anaya DeVore.

As part of the evening, South Carolina Pride will present the Revelry Flame Awards — recognizing individuals, businesses, organizations, and community partners who have made a meaningful impact on South Carolina’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the evening’s glam-rock-inspired red carpet theme and arrive in their personal best. Awards will be presented for Best Dressed, Most Creative Attire, and Signature Style.
