New Amazon facility to deliver more than packages to the Midlands
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Amazon.com, Inc. is delivering new jobs to the Midlands.
Wednesday, the online retail giant announced it will build a last-mile delivery station in the Calhoun County I-26 Industrial Park.
Officials say the 150,000 square foot facility comes with 100 full- and part-time jobs.
Amazon says the delivery station will tentatively begin operations late next year.
