GOP Special Primary Runoff set for August 25 between Graham and Norman

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– In our Vote 2026 Coverage, there will be a runoff in the Republican race for the U.S. Senate seat.

The unofficial results are in for the special GOP Primary election for the late Lindsey Graham’s US Senate seat.  According to the South Carolina Election Commission, Senator Darline Graham earned 33% of the vote and Congressman Ralph Norman earned 25 % of the vote.

The runoff between Graham and Norman is set for Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The early voting period will take place from August 19-21.
The SC GOP says a runoff debate between the candidates will take place Tuesday, August 18 at the Newberry Opera House.
