Escaped bull returned to owner in Prosperity

PROSPERITY, S.C. (WOLO)– Police in Prosperity say it took a team effort to capture a bull running loose Monday (September 7).

Investigators say the animal was in the area of Shealy Drive and Forest Hill Boulevard.

According to police, the animal was safely located on South Wheeler Avenue and reunited with his owner.

According to police, the owner told them a tree fell on a fence Sunday allowing the bull to escape.

Police say officers from six agencies helped in the effort.
