Orangeburg Co. coroner identifies man shot, killed

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle is releasing the identity of the person fatally wounded on Tuesday, says the coroner’s office.

The incident took place on Tuesday, September 8, in the 300 block of Seawright Street in Orangeburg.

Jamar Johnson, 41, of Orangeburg was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy, performed on Thursday, September 10, concluded that Johnson died of a gunshot wound, according to Coroner Fogle.

The case remains under investigation.
