SCDOT to temporarily close, detour loop ramps at I-26/I-95
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT says I-26 eastbound loop to I-95 northbound and the I-95 southbound loop ramp to I-26 eastbound will be temporarily closed and detoured.
Beginning the night of Monday, September 14, both loop ramps will be closed starting September 14 at 7 p.m. and reopen September 17 by 9 a.m.
The traffic shift operation will involve shifting I-26 eastbound to I-95 northbound ramp traffic from its current location to a newly constructed ramp in the immediate vicinity.
Lane closures will be active on I-26 and I-95 intermittently throughout the course of the operation, says SCDOT.
Traffic will be detoured for this project and a map of the detours is below:
