Netflix, Youtube, Amazon launch streaming platforms advocacy group
(CNN)– There’s a new coalition advocating for streaming platforms.
Netflix, Youtube and Amazon launched the ‘Streaming Access and Choice Alliance’ or ‘SACA’ to represent their interests in Washington.
It’s similar to how the motion picture association represents film and television studios.
SACA says it will work to expand consumer access to high-quality content, preserve choice, and support innovative viewing experiences.
The tech public policy group, Technet is leading the new endeavor.
