Memorial Day kicks off “100 Deadliest Days on roads”

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Nearly half a million South Carolinians have hit the road to celebrate Memorial Day. Many will be heading home Monday Night. And while you’re looking to take a break and have a good time, the South Carolina department of Public safety has one goal in mind. Zero deaths on the highway. Last year, 12 people died during the holiday period. Troopers are out in full force as we kick off the “100” Deadliest days of summer on our roadways.
