Three classroom libraries open at elementary school

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Three new classroom libraries are now open at Burton-Pack Elementary School.

The school held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday morning (October 28) in partnership with the City of Columbia, Cocky’s Reading Express and the Columbia chapter of the Links Incorporated.

After the ceremony, volunteers from Cocky’s Reading Express read to students.

The goal of the event was to promote literacy at Burton-Pack.
