CFD: No injuries in house fire on Alpha Court Thursday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia firefighters responded to a house fire late Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say they responded to a home on Alpha Court, where they found fire in the kitchen area.

According to firefighters, the four occupants were not home at the time of the fire.

Officials say the fire was quickly extinguished and the residence was turned back over to the homeowners.

No injuries were reported.
