Police Chase Ends In Crash

Richland County, SC (WOLO)-Richland County Deputies say a suspect crashed into a tree in an attempt to evade capture. Investigators say the suspect was trying to make a getaway from the department’s drug task force, when he lead them on a short chase in a neighborhood behind Columbia Place Mall. Deputies say the suspect eventually lost control and struck a tree. authorities have not released the suspect’s identity.
