4 men arrested in Berkeley County woman’s death

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (AP) — Berkeley County sheriff’s deputies say four Eutawville men have been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of a woman earlier this week.

Officials say 21-year-old Brittany Aigoro of Pineville was shot and killed about 12:30 a.m. Monday at a house in Russellville where she was visiting.

Twenty-five-year-old Kendrick Shirer lives in the house and was wounded in the shooting.

People in the house told deputies that someone knocked on the front door and then opened fire.

Sheriff’s spokesman Dan Moon says investigators think the gunmen were trying to rob the home. Moon would not say what the robbers were seeking.

Those arrested are 22-year-old Brandon Jenkins, 24-year-old Joshua Jenkins, 23-year-old Aveon Goodman and 22-year-old Sheldon Goodman.

There was no word on whether they have lawyers.
