NWS confirms tornado touchdown in Orangeburg Co

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Local residents in Orangeburg County have a reason to be rattled. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF0 tornado touched down near Vance on Sunday. It tore a roof off a home and several items were damaged in the yard, but there were no reports of any injuries. Surveyors say the tornado was on the ground for about a minute with winds up to 80 miles an hour.
