Man killed in triple shooting in Boiling Springs

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a triple shooting in the Boiling Springs community that killed one person and injured two others.

Sheriff’s Lt. Tony Ivey says officers were called to a home shortly before 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies found three people had been shot. Two were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and a third person died.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger says 19-year-old Rashaad Glenn of Woodruff died in the shooting. An autopsy was planned Friday.

Ivey says a fourth person in the home was not hurt.

Ivey says witnesses saw several people leave the home after the shooting in a sports utility vehicle. Ivey says officers think robbery may have been a motive for the shooting.

No arrests have been reported.
