RCSD arrest man accused of robbing Two Notch Rd. adult store

Richland Co., SC (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is releasing information surrounding the arrest of a suspected armed robber taken into custody Monday, May 13th, 2019. Wednesday, deputies confirmed there arrest of 21 year old Quintine Colby Hammonds on charges of Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and Kidnapping.

Hammonds is suspected of robbing the Video Express, adult store in the 2 thousand block Two Notch Road on April 18. According to deputies, Hammonds told a clerk at the store he had a gun, and that he wanted her to help him get the store’s money. Officials say Hammonds then forced her over to the register, made her open it before taking off with cash and more money held in a blue box.
Hammonds is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
