Clemson RB Choice Out For Season

Dabo Swinney said Sunday leading rusher Adam Choice will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL on a first quarter run against Boston College Saturday. The freshman from Thomasville, GA had 50 carries for 218 rushing yards and one touchdown on the season. “I just hate it for Adam,” Swinney said in his weekly Sunday teleconference. “He was just about to hit his stride, but he has his whole career in front of him. We have all been down this road before. He will bounce back eventually.” Swinney said redshirt freshman running back Tyshon Dye will return to practice this week and could play Saturday against Syracuse. Dye tore his Achilles in February.
