Man Found Shot to Death in Spartanburg County

WELLFORD, S.C. (AP) _ Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a man in Wellford. Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Bobo said officers were called about 7:45 p.m. Sunday. The coroner’s office says 25-year-old Brandon Soloman Bryant was found in the middle of a street. Some neighbors said they heard as many as a dozen gunshots. Sheriff’s deputies say 43-year-old is Dannie Hamilton Jr. has been arrested and charged with murder. It’s not known if he has an attorney. Investigators didn’t give a motive for the killing.
