Violence erupts in Ferguson following Grand Jury decision

Ferguson, MO– Violence erupts in Ferguson following Grand Jury decision not to indict. Shortly after the decision was announced, small groups of protesters turned violent. Witnesses say protesters threw bricks, kicked out windows of police cars, set cruisers on fire and began looting. Police fired tear gas or smoke into the area to try and disperse the violent crowds. Meanwhile, President Barack Obama called for a peaceful protest and open communication.
