COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s re-election campaign reports it raised $200,000 in cash in the third quarter.
Haley’s fundraising report filed Monday night shows her progress for an as-yet unannounced re-election bid.
The Republican governor’s report shows nearly $24,000 in non-cash donations that include things like travel.
Haley took in more than $25,000 from Michigan, nearly $37,000 from Texas and more than $83,000 from South Carolina.
The campaign spent heavily. The campaign reported more than $48,000 used for events, fundraising and travel. That total also includes in-kind gifts of things like air travel.
The campaign paid its fundraising consultant more than $16,000.
The governor also had a $13,000 tab for printing and postage and a more than $3,600 tab for meetings at the Kiawah Island Club.
