Breaking: Shooting on USC campus Isolated say SLED officials

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– USC campus shooting, according to SLED appears to be isolated incident, appears to be murder suicide. Investigation ongoing. There is no longer an existing threat on campus. New School of Public Health/streets remained closed. Reports of a shooting on the USC campus at the New School of Public Health are coming from the Carolina Alert system. ABC Columbia News has a crew on the scene at this time. What we do know is that USC officials are asking students to remain indoors and stay safe. Columbia Police and USC police have blocked off the area near the campus school of public health at the corner of Assembly and Pendleton. We will continue to follow this breaking news. ###
