Carbon Monoxide Dangers

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — As many of you attempt to stay warm with gas ovens, kerosene heaters and portable generators, the Palmetto Poison Center wants to send you a reminder about the dangers of carbon monoxide. Officials say it’s often hard to detect since the toxic gas has no smell or color but can be deadly. If you or anyone in your home begins to experience Fatigue Dizziness Nausea Headaches Irregular breathing Disorientation or Confusion You’re asked to leave your home immediately to get air and have a trained technician identify and correct the source of possible leaks.
