Richland One Offers Helping Hands
RICHLAND CO. (WOLO) As a part of the international community service program, “Rachel’s Challenge”, hundreds of Richland One’s administrative employees rolled up their sleeves to donate their time to non profit organizations throughout the Midlands. Those volunteers offering their time to help places like The Red Cross, and The Salvation Army with projects they couldn’t do on their own. More than 40 of those volunteers spent hours at the non profit organization God’s Storehouse, packing boxes of gently used clothing and canned goods to make way for more donations that will be available for those in need. Manager, Fraklin Houser says the helping hands are a welcome change to the 6 member staff they are accustomed to working with.
