Movie Director pleads guilty in train death of Midlands Woman

Georgia, (WOLO)– The Movie Director of a film about Gregg Allman pleads guilty in train crash death; charges dropped against wife. According to AP reports, Director Randall Miller entered the plea Monday in a Georgia courtroom. The Plea Deal sentences Miller to two years in a county jail and eight years probation. Sara Jones, a West Columbia native, was killed when she was struck by a train while filming “Midnight Rider”. The accident happened near Savannah last year.
