Food From the Heart Continues to Beat

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — It’s been one of the best year’s for donations according to Harvest Hope Public Relations Spokesperson, Skot Garrick. The Shandon Baptist Church, Northside Baptist church teamed up with the Foodbank to help collect non perishable food items for those in need. Volunteers were at more than 30 grocery stores throughout the Midlands Saturday and were able to collect 131 thousand pounds of food. An amount exceeding last year’s donations of 110 thousand pounds of food. If you would like to donate you still have time. Organizers say you can donate items to either of the two churches helping benefit families suffering from food hardship. (Source: Harvest Hope Food Bank)
