Peanut Butter prices are expected to rise in the coming weeks, predict consumer experts. A hot and dry peanut harvest season is to blame. Peanuts are going for about three times as much as they were last year, making it difficult for peanut butter makers. Brands like Planters and Peter Pan have already confirmed a price hike by the end of the month, say officials.
