Magic Johnson visiting SC State as part of speaker series

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — Basketball Hall of Famer Magic Johnson is visiting South Carolina State University.

Johnson is stopping at the Orangeburg school Thursday at 11 a.m. to take part in an invitation-only meet before giving a talk as part of S.C. State’s Executive Speaker Series.

The weekly series features experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals from a wide variety of industries who come to share professional experience and advice to students.

The speech is free and open to the public. Doors open at 10 a.m.
