Midlands Gives Supports Local, Non-Profit Organizations

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — It’s time for our community to step up to the plate and deliver in a big way. We’re in the middle of Midlands Gives, a 24-hour local online challenge. Here’s how it works, you donate and the money will benefit more than 250 local, non-profit organizations. To make a donation on May 5, visit www.midlandsgives.org, select the nonprofit you would like to support and make a minimum contribution of $20. ABC Columbia is a proud sponsor of the event. Check out the complete list of the organizations you can reach out to through Midlands Gives: 701 Center for Contemporary Art A Chance Through Literacy Able South Carolina Acercamiento Hispano de Carolina del Sur / South Carolina Hispanic Outreach Achieve Columbia Acts Metro Alex’s House Orphanage Alston Wilkes Society Alzheimer’s Association American Cancer Society American Heart Association – Midlands American Red Cross Animal Protection League of SC Auntie Karen Foundation Autism Academy of South Carolina Babcock Center Foundation Be The Match Beginnings SC Bethel Christian Camp Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia Blythewood High School Education Foundation Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands Boys Farm, Inc.
