1 Dead, 1 Person Arrested After Shooting in Pickens
PICKENS, S.C. (AP) _ Police in Pickens are investigating a shooting that left one man dead. Police tell local media that dispatchers were called to the scene shortly before midnight Thursday. They say Joseph Wright had suffered a bullet wound to the side and died later at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Police say a person is in custody in the shooting. They have not released the name of the person or the charges filed.
