Shooting investigated

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — Richland county Deputies are investigating a fight in the 22 hundred block of O’Niel court that left one person hospitalized and a discovery of a large amount of narcotics. According to Deputies around 11-30 Saturday night, 29 year old Edian Jeter was shot in the upper body after witnesses say he was involved in a fight with suspect – 39 year old Damon Mcduffie. Deputes say they found large amounts of drugs they believe belonged to the victim, and have charged him with possession with an attempt to distribute. McDuffie who was arrested a short time later now faces attempted murder charges. (Source: Richland County Sheriff’s Department)
