Missing Woman Body Found

(WOLO) CHESNEE, S.C., — Authorities say a 50-year-old woman missing for nearly three weeks has been found dead in woods near two hay fields in Chesnee. Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler says a farmer cutting hay from one of the fields found Vicki Ezell’s body around 1 p.m. Saturday. She was reported missing on May 11 by a family member who said at the time she hadn’t been seen for a week. Fowler says it appeared Ezell was dead for about two weeks before she was found. The coroner says an autopsy has been ordered. He says evidence at the scene was not enough for his to give a possible cause of Ezell’s death. (Source: Associated Press)
