(WOLO) MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., — Authorities are investigating two separate shootings within 12 hours of each other at the same Myrtle Beach hotel. Police told media outlets that the first shooting happened Saturday evening at a room at the Compass Cove hotel. One man was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Investigators say 45-year-old Craig Tallambadge Williams was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated assault. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer. The second shooting happened around 7 a.m. Sunday at another room at the Compass Cove hotel. Police say a shot was fired during an armed robbery attempt, but no one was hurt.
