Software company plans to add 265 jobs
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — A company that makes human resources software for service industry businesses plans to create almost 270 new jobs.
PeopleMatter plans to invest almost $19 million over the next four years and also is moving its main operation to downtown Charleston from the former Charleston Navy base.
The company now employs about 70 workers in North Charleston and at offices in Atlanta and San Francisco. It plans to add 265 new jobs during the next four years, with about 80 percent of them in Charleston.
