Report of collapsed building in Richland County

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Columbia Fire Department is responding to the report of a collapsed building in Richland County. The report came in Monday afternoon in the 4700 block of The Boulevard. A spokesperson says a building on the Thermal Engineering campus was knocked down. The cause is not known at this time. Crews have evacuated the surrounding area. They’re reportedly looking for a possible gas leak. We have learned there are no injuries. ABC Columbia is heading to the scene and will bring you the latest.
