Local Blues Legend Wins Highest Honor in Folk Arts

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Local Blues Legend Drink Small, the Blue Doctor, is one of the 2015 N-E-A National Heritage Fellows. The Honor is the highest in the folk arts medium. The National Endowment for the arts celebrate master folk artists that embody the strength and diversity of culture. Drink Small will appear at the N-E-A concert in October, but before that you can catch him at the Folk Life Festival at USC this August.
