USC Up To 9th In BCS Standings

(WOLO) — Nothing like a top ten BCS SEC showdown on the road to start the month of November. After improving to 7-1 on the season with a 14-3 win at Tennessee, the Gamecocks moved up to 9th in the latest BCS standings. Arkansas, also 7-1, is 7th in the BCS. South Carolina plays at Arkansas Saturday at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN2. After losing its first game of the season, 31-17 at Georgia Tech, Clemson (8-1 record) dropped from 5th to 11th in the BCS standings. The Tigers take this week off before hosting Wake Forest November 12th. LSU is #1 in the BCS. Alabama is #2. The Tigers and Tide play each other this Saturday.
